Project: School of Fish

In this project, you will create an imaginary school of colorful fish based on the knowledge you’ve just gained about fish bodies and fins. You’ll also get to explore your brush library, experiment with color, and practice using Clipping Masks and Alpha Lock to decorate your fish with lots of fun textures and patterns.

Start With a Sketch

1. Select your pencil brush of choice and sketch several different-sized ovals on your canvas. These ovals will soon become fish, so leave plenty of space between these shapes for fins.
